Spoke with Jacob today about No Frills policy banning CCW. He told me that No Frills decided to adopt this policy in all their stores when CCW was first
allowed in Nebraska. He explained that in their Omaha stores they hire off-duty OPD and when they polled these officers ALL were in favor of No Frills ban on
CCW three years ago. He continued that their stores feel that their policy best reflects the wishes of their customers. When I retorted that I was a customer
and didn't agree with their policy, he stated that it better reflected the wishes of the Omaha customers they serve.
Jacob was a very nice guy and listened to my concerns and points. He thanked me for calling and said that they would revisit their policy on their CCW ban. Not hopeful...but I feel better for trying. |

I used my Quicken program to figure how much I spent at the Ashland No Frills during the 2008 calendar year ($6,000+). I also ran a report for this year (2009)
as well. I wrote a very nice letter to the manager explaining that if their policy didn't change, my money will look for a new store to be spent in. My
hope is that by putting real $$ data in my letter they can see the financial impact of this policy for their store.
