I was in the Navy for over twenty years. Served on one joint tour and numerous temporary duties around the other services. While there are a lot of bright, well educated people serving you would not believe how ignorant they can be. The military is, in a way, a mirror of society. You got gang bangers, rednecks, perverts, bigots, drunks, drug users, etc. Yes I said DRUG USERS, I've seen the zero tolerance policy come and go. There are a lot of people in the Military that think THE ONE is the answer. They don't have a clue as to what the question is but they got the answer. Then there is the question of the oath we take that says that they will support and defend the Constitution and follow the orders of the President. I take the oath very seriously and have followed the orders given to me even if I didn't agree with them as long as they were lawful. There opens a huge can of worms! A whole new discussion could be launched on the topic with reference to the issues of what a lawful order is and is Obama the President because of various questions before the court. I was reading an article about an Army Officer putting his career on the line by joining the suite challenging his right to be President of the United States. They think he has standing because of the oath he took when he was commissioned and other suites have been thrown out because the plaintiff had no standing. Did I get that right Paul, plaintiff? Sorry, I'm running on. Luckily they chickened out when everyone locked and loaded on their stupidity. Notice the lamestream media didn't say too much about their plan to file claims with the Veterans insurance since they knew it would blow up. A few mentions and then it was gone, never to be mentioned again.
