I noticed a sign at the south Tractor Supply store. That seems wrong to me that a farm store wouldn't allow ccw.

Email sent to TSC corporate. Will post results, but I bet this is similiar to Lincoln Best Buy "incident" and not corporate policy. No sign at N location, nor have I ever seen one in the stores I frequent in MO and TX. |

lets fix this quick, I live a mile and a half from there and go there all the time!
someone drop me a line w/ the address of who to contact and sample letter and I'll tweak it and fire it off.

I stopped by TSC South yesterday after spending a few hours at Lincoln Ikes - what a great day it was to be on the range. But I digress - I asked the manager why he had chose to post the store - he said it was company policy. I let him know that his store was the only one that I have run across that is posted, he acted surprised. I let him know the process that we go through to have our CCW permits. In addition, I told him that his posting let everyone else know that the only people with guns in his store would not be the good guys. I asked him to re-consider his position, he said that he was going to check to make sure that he was not mistaken on store policy - guess we'll see. If he doesn't, I will feel fine about not doing business there in the future as I know that he chose to keep the posting inspite of the message that it sends. |

To date I have received no response to my 6 March correspondance to TSC corporate. To date I have not seen a sign in any other location. I will bet
everything I own that it ain't "company policy". TSC would be out business yesterday in TX, OK, MO, TN, etc. Me thinks the South store manager
is over-stepping his "authority".
