..and actually I was a little confused about their sign. It says something like "no concealed weapons allowed unless permitted by law".
Did anyone else see this? I guess that means if you have a CCW you are "permitted"-or am I wrong? |

If that is what Schaffer's has put on their sign, that would be similiar to what Cabela's signs say. If you have a CHP, then your welcome.

Here is the text of the sign I saw at Shaefers (12/29/08) As requested the wording is: " No weapons permitted on Schaefers property unless otherwise authorised by law. Violation of this prohibition is a criminal offense...pursuant to Nebraska status 56-2441." I would suggest lawful Nebraska CCW holders use discretion, but it seems to me....... |

That is the same verbiage as the sign that's reccomended by the State Patrol, so it's legit.

The sign at the 70th and Van Dorn Buffet is GONE, it was there several months ago but has been taken down now

Well i got my hopes all up and was out enjoying the weather on my bike so i stopped by and to my dismay the sign was still there.
So I don't know what 70th and van dorn valentinos you go to. but the one in the Lincoln I live in still has the sign. It is in the entryway area between the 1st and 2nd door off to the left (straight in as you walk in the 1st door) and is a paper sign just like the state recommends. Sad day for me but I had pauls bbq instead and totally was worth it!! KDOFTS |
