Yes Brewskys is a bar and they derive at least 50% of their revenue from alcohol. So it was stupid for the owner to even go on the news and announce this, becuase permit holders aren't allowed to carry there anyway.

Noticed a sign on the Super C convienence store on Highway 2 between Van Dorn and Pioneers across from the grain elevators. Very small hard to see but there. Did not see it until it was too late and already fueled up the SUV. Noted my displeasure with the clerk but she said it was the new company policy. Also noted a homemade sign on the Ampride at Bennet corner (168th and Highway 2). Gal inside did not care about CCW holders but said it was the owners. Too bad, two places I will not shop at again....

Valentinos at 70th & Van Dorn had a concealed handguns prohibited sign on the outside door to the main north entrance on Saturday, 1/27. I assume all the other Lincoln outlets have similar signs in keeping with corporate policy as indicated in a post related to Valentinos in Omaha by jednp on 1/13. The place was very crowded. Management does not seem concerned about loss of business resulting from the policy.

A co-worker confirmed the Valentino's near 35th and Holdrege has a "No Guns" sign displayed.
Fine by me, their pizza isn't that great...way too sweet on the sauce. |

You may wish to respectfully indicate your objection to Valentinos policy at CustomerService@Valentinos.com You will receive the standard our insurance carrier requires this in response. However, if enough people contact the company that might prompt them to consider another carrier, although I suspect the carrier is only serving as a scapegoat for company policy. |

The "Food Court" Located on the Souteast cornter of the property has signs posted on all of it's doors. This is the only building I noticed the signs on. (then again I really only ever goto Office Max and Scheels) |

Just went to La Paz mexican restaurant over on Cotner.
front door had a sign: No guns allowed on this property. i was planning to drink, so I was not carrying. I plan to write them a letter, as I doubt anyone of 'value' was working on a sunday night for issuing a complaint. |

The Ace Rent-to-own store located in the Belmont mall has posted no CCW signs.
In addittion the bottle & Tabacco Shoppe on the corner of 1st & Cornhusker has posted a no CCW sign. |

Funny thing is the Ace Rent-To-Own in Council Bluffs has a NE State Patrol sign up, too. Silly Iowans. |

The Cooper YMCA on 14th st is posted. So that would lead me to believe that all the other Y's are as well. I can understand this one, as the Y is basically a school with all the damn kids running around. As I spend 1-2 hrs there when I go, I can not see myself carrying one around while inside. I would prefer to have it locked in my vehicle rather than taking it inside. Not very practical to be carrying while working out, nor would I feel confident that it was secured in a locker in the locker room.

Tom Casady asked businesses with over 50% of their revenue from alcohol to post signs so there can be no mistakes. So I cannot agree with SIOP that this gives ample reason not to do business with them.
