Nice work Ryan! As Rick said, I know at least several of us have written letters and emails to no avail. I wonder why they changed their mind? Maybe you have the magic touch?

Part of your building access agreement you sign specifically states that you will not bring weapons on the premise. You can not even leave them in your car, under penalty of termination of employment. This is very annoying since I can't make it home and to the bullet hole before closing. But a job is a job and you have to have your priorities. I inquired with HR as to why they are so anti-gun and they sighted it is not that they are anti-gun, its simply a risk assessment decision. If they encourage guns on campus they are more libel if there is an incident.

Realize ConAgra is not a leader in corporate thought, they just clone policies from other successful companies. I don't know of any large corporations that allow carry at work, but i know of many that allow you to keep a weapon in the car as long as you keep your mouth shut about it. http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/1576 This happened quite a while ago, but I remember it. Not one lawsuit that I know of from the plant employees that weren't shot, or the families of those that were. IIRC he went on his spree because someone else was using his pallet jack.

I believe it effects a Quizno's and Wave Bistro and a few other businesses there.

I talked to the store manager for the 156&Blondo store about why his store still had their sign up a few weeks ago, he said it was "corporates' policy" and there was nothing he could do about it. Today, I had to get some parts for work from Wix/Sterling truck parts(near Werner Trucking's big terminal). Talked to some big-wig there, gave him a "no guns=no money" card. We had about a 3 minute nice conversation....he stated he was a hunter/trap shooter and that he didn't like the sign either. Here's the kicker, he said that they were basically "coerced" into putting up the sign by, as he called them "some organization", that wanted all the businesses in the area to put up the signs. That is in addition to the Bag N Save stores in Omaha that have taken down their signs recently. Other then that location, which ones do still have a sign now? I'll pay that store a visit sometime and talk with him, too.

I went in to give the Manager the card printout but she was not in, I then gave it to the worker to give to her boss, she smirked, then placed it next to the register.
