After the LeMars IDPA club lost thier range due to rifle FUDDS the LeMars, IA chief of police stepped up and made arrangements that that can use the City
Police range.

That is nice of the LeMars Chief.
So what happened with the Rifle Fudds out of curiousity? Seems like a constant battle at every range...... |

That is super great of the chief, I mean outstanding. I am sad to hear of the rifle guys kicking out the pistol guys, though. I don't understand that.
I mean, how are we supposed to get anywhere with the non-gun-owning public if we can't even stand united on something so simple as sharing a range?

The range in LeMars uses noise abatment tubes for sound control all rifles. Since the IDPA shooters were shooting not through the tubes, the rifle FUDDS got
upset and complained to the Iowa DNR which is like our Game Wardens and they shut the range down for any use not shooting through the noise reduction tubes.

... but I think Iowa frowns on suppressors for the commoners. Class III dealers and Class II manufacturers are OK, I think.

I forgot- Iowa is one of those fiefdoms where you have to be special (politically connected/a big cheese in your county) or one of the "only ones" to
even carry a gun...........
